Empowering Uganda’s Youth: Building Futures Together.

JOURNEY OF TREE OF LIFE SCHOOL FROM ZERO

District leaders attended foundation breaking when I received $ 5,000 in November 2019 from Lynn who stay in New York , the money was given to help school but I thought it was wise to start secondary school so that students from Garden of Knowledge school and others students can still further their education and they can some how be sustainiable in their life should they failed to join University .

This block has been like this since 2019

A Dream Delayed:
This unfinished structure has stood still since 2019, representing both the potential and the challenges faced by our community. Overgrown with vegetation, it serves as a stark reminder of the urgent need for support to complete our learning center. With your help, we can transform this shell into a vibrant space for education and growth, providing Uganda’s youth with the opportunities they deserve.

Sign post for both Primary and Secondary

A Beacon of Hope: This signpost stands as a symbol of aspiration for the “Tree of Life Mixed Day & Boarding Secondary School” and the “Garden of Knowledge Nursery & Primary Mixed Day and Boarding School.” Despite the challenges, these institutions remain committed to their missions of “Enduring to Succeed” and pursuing “Quest for Excellence.” The surrounding environment may still be in development, but the determination to provide quality education to Uganda’s youth is unwavering.

Progress before roofing

This image captures a critical stage in the construction of our learning center, where the walls have been erected, but the roof is yet to be installed. It marks a significant milestone in our journey to provide a safe and conducive environment for learning. The structure, though incomplete, stands as a testament to the progress we’ve made with the support of our community and donors. With your continued contributions, we can move forward to the next phase and complete this essential facility for Uganda’s youth.

Status July 23th 2021

These images showcase the significant progress made on the learning center by July 23rd, 2021. With the roofing now completed, the building stands strong and ready for the next stages of development. This milestone represents the collective efforts of our community and supporters who are committed to making a lasting difference in the lives of Uganda’s youth. As we move forward, your continued support will be crucial in finishing the interior, equipping the classrooms, and creating a fully functional educational facility.

New School Spurs Government Road Construction to Sudan Border.

A School That Paves the Way:

The establishment of our school has not only impacted the lives of our students but also catalyzed infrastructure development in the region. The government has initiated the construction of a main road near the school, which will serve as a vital connection between Gulu and Southern Sudan. Located just 100 km from the Sudan border, this road will enhance accessibility to the school, making it easier for students and community members to reach us and for the broader region to benefit from improved transportation links.

"Grateful Progress: Completing Our School's Roof and Interior"

Dear Seth, your contribution has helped me to buy Iron sheets, Timber and putting ceiling board inside all rooms. During 2019, with the help of money from Lynn I also worked around and two blocks were constructed three classrooms, offices and one big hall for dormitory up to roofing level the classrooms has been roofed with your funds, it has been expensive building because I put concrete ceiling board so that the students can have conducive learning environment. Much as you did not spelt out how the funds should be used but I thought it wise to roof the building to avoid it falling down and to enable school to start, this is more than 80% to completion. Many thanks
